Our Optometrist:

Dr. Andrews was born into a military family in Portsmouth Virginia.  He graduated from Poquoson High School in 1992 and James Madison University in 1996, entered optometry school in 1998 and graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a doctorate of optometry in 2002.  During school he was accepted into the health professions scholarship program of the United States Military and entered into active duty in the U.S. Army in July 2002.  After serving as the chief of optometry at Camp Walker in South Korea, he served at Eagle Clinic, Kenner Army Health Clinic at Fort Lee, Virginia.  He left active duty in July 2005, and after staying on as a civilian optometrist at Ft. Lee he left to begin his own practice July 3rd, 2006 in Chester, Virginia.   Andrews Eye Care strives to provide only the best possible patient care in a professional and friendly atmosphere.
